London calling...

Greetings!!!

This past weekend I went to visit Valerie, my roommate at TLU. She is studying abroad in London this semester.

On Friday I had to take the train from Bangor to London. Once in London I had to take the tube to meet Valerie. It was a very exciting adventure! Once I met up with her I went to Vandon House where she is staying and got to meet her roommate. We just kinda hung out on Friday night and walked around. I saw Big Ben and Parliament and Westminster Abbey, and the London Eye. Then we found a pub and hung out there for a little while.

On Saturday, Valentines Day, Valerie and a couple of her friends (Amy and Heather), and I went out and bought tickets for a movie that night. We really just walked around town and got lunch. I really just wanted to hang out this weekend and that is exactly what we did. That night we went and saw He's Just Not That Into You and it was awesome. I think its my new favorite movie.

On Sunday, Valerie and I walked to Trafalgar Square and saw this guys put his whole body through a tennis racket. It was pretty amazing. Valerie gave him a pound. After this we had lunch and I jumped back on the tube to the train station and then back to Bangor.

Bangor and London are very different. I like it here though but it was fun to visit!
