Hello again everyone!
Here is a quick update on what I did today! We have field trips all weekend and I thought I would update on each of them separately. Today is Saturday and we had a great day! The field trip was really fun!
We met outside and got on the bus at 930 and headed off to Conwy. Once we arrived we walked to the harbor and around the walls. While we were in the harbor we saw the smallest house in the UK. It was only two rooms big, one upstairs and one down. I could touch the ceiling with my hand and it was about only 3 of my steps from the front door to the back wall. It was tiny. While looking around we were told that the last person to live there was a 6'3'' fisherman. I cant even imagine it. It was so small. After that we began to walk to town walls. Conwy is one of the only towns in the UK that still has the medieval walls surrounding the castle and the city still fully intact. We were able to walk all the way around the walls to the castle and that was really cool!

When we reached the castle we were led inside by a tour guide who took us around the castle and told us all about it. The tour took about an hour but it was really interesting and I really enjoyed listening to what the castle used to look like when it was in good working condition.

After the tour we were able to walk around the castle for ourselves and go get some lunch. We ate lunch at a little tea shop and it was very good! After lunch we all got back onto the bus and headed for the Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay.
When we first arrived at the zoo we were told we only had about two and a half hours to go look at everything and then we needed to meet back at the bus. This did not seem like a very long time at all to me because at home two and a half hours at the zoo means you can see the monkeys and the birds and then you need to leave. However, this zoo was much smaller and we were able to see everything we needed to before time was over. It was so much fun walking around and looking at all of the different animals. Some of the animals were not so different because we have them at home but some of them were very interesting. They had welsh mountain goats, red squirrels, and polecats. It was so much fun going to the zoo and I am very glad we were able to go.

After everyone gathered onto the bus we made our way back to Bangor and Tecwyn told us about tomorrows field trip and when we need to meet outside. I am very excited about tomorrows trip, we are going to Penrhyn Castle. It sould be really fun. I will tell you all about it tomorrow!
Have a great day everyone!
