Chester ZOO!!!

Hey Everybody!

This past Friday, I took my first exam for my Animal Behavior class. It wasn't too hard but I didn't get to finish some of my questions because I didn't have enough time but I still think I did very well.

On Saturday, I went to the Chester Zoo with Jim, Adena, and Allison. We left early in the morning and did get back until late last night. We had a great time! I am so glad I was able to go. The Chester Zoo is a whole lot bigger than the Welsh Mountain Zoo, we went to a couple weeks ago. There were so many animals and it was fun to walk around and look at all of them. There was a butterfly house and a bat house and we were able to walk around inside of them and they were flying past our heads. Today, I am writing my essay for my Wales class and Tuesday and Wednesday I have my last exams. I cannot wait to be done with school. I will update later if something else exciting happens. :)

CARDIFF!!!

Hey Everybody!

This past weekend, we went on our last field trip to Cardiff. Cardiff is the capitol of Wales. I had the best time!

We left early Friday morning and went to Hereford and saw the cathedral and ate lunch. Then we moved onto Tintern Abbey and that is on the England-Wales border and it was beautiful. Then we finally arrived in Cardiff and we were able to see our hostel and have the rest of the day free. I went for dinner that day and then Allison, Keeley and I went and saw X-Men Origins. On Saturday, we were busy almost all day long. We visited Cardiff Cathedral, the Welsh National Gallery and Museum, and then we went to Cardiff Bay and had a tour of the Welsh Assembly. The Welsh Assembly is the parliament for Wales. It was really fun to go see all of those things. After that, we went back to the hostel and had the day off. We went for dinner and I thought the waiter was cute so my friends thought it would be fun to write him a note from me on the receipt... lets just say I was a little embarrassed and the first one out of the building. After dinner we all went back to the hostel and hung out for the night and then Keeley and I went to see I Love You, Man. On Sunday we woke up and got on the bus to leave Cardiff. We made a stop at the Welsh Open Air Museum. It was so much fun walking around there. I had a great time and learned a lot. The rest of my week has been spent doing homework and studying for exams. I have my first exam on Friday and then one on Tuesday and one Wednesday. After that I am finished with school. I cannot wait! I am going to the Chester Zoo this weekend and I am very excited about it! I will make sure to update and tell you all about it!
